Michael Lee Appointed as The VP of FansUnite

FansUnite appointed Michael Lee, Genesis Gaming’s former CEO, to work under iGaming solutions as VP to help the company extend its online gaming product portfolio. Further to develop the distribution network for gaming suppliers globally to boost its casino technology online.

In 2016, Lee was the chief product officer for Genesis Gaming, leading the company’s idea for developing in-game infrastructure delivery and supervising the company’s extensive catalog that covers 100 iGaming titles. Lee’s time with the firm was crucial, as the company was nominated for the award in 2019 EGR B2B “Innovation in Mobile.”

Michael Lee’s professional background includes holding top management positions in gaming and telecoms firms.

Appointing Lee as the VP of the firm came days after FansUnite named Anna Smith in a top position. It demonstrates the company’s commitment to building a strong leadership team as it prepares to enter the sports betting and gaming sector market.

Scott Burton, FansUnite CEO, said that the cutting-edge betting services are the product of the high-end gaming software and that the team was pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Lee as VP of Gaming to oversee the development of the casino operations.

The company is preparing to enter the betting market in the US. Meanwhile, FansUnite has brought Ifrah Law PLLC on board that will help to partner with OneComply. The firm will help in the licensing process for multiple states.

Jeff Ifrah will provide complete legal advice to the firm regarding every state. FansUnite has partnered with OneComply, the licensing firm, to benefit from their experience in acquiring licenses across the United States.

Last month, FansUnite stated that it has no intentions to obtain a license to run a sportsbook business in Canada, publicly acknowledging that it cannot compete financially with some giant sports betting US companies such as DraftKings and FanDuel. However, the gambling company focused on growing its McBookie sports betting brand in the United Kingdom.
